This requires exceptional physical stamina as you continuously lift, twist, and stack packages tight to the trailer's ceiling, maximizing cubic volume and ensuring the load does not shift during highway transit.
• Heavy Material Handling: You will safely operate heavy-duty manual pallet jacks and powered walkie-riders to transport massive, shrink-wrapped pallets weighing hundreds of pounds from the staging lanes directly into the outbound trucks in the dark.
• Yard & Dock Safety: The night dock is a high-traffic zone filled with moving machinery. You will strictly enforce the "Circle of Safety," ensuring all trailers are securely locked to the dock doors with glad-hands and wheel chocks before anyone enters the trailer.
